Axess Systems is a Preferred Citrix Services Provider. This means Citrix actively recommends us as a first point of contact for UK-based Citrix users looking to maximise their investment in its technologies.

As well as working with customers onsite and remotely, our team values opportunities for travel, learning, and networking – to refresh our knowledge and expand our skills.

That’s why we were delighted to be one of a select group of partners joining customers at Citrix Connect – a series of two-day events held in cities around the world. The London event featured panel discussions, technical workshops, and the chance to directly explore how Citrix’s latest developments could help you, our customers.

It was a really engaging event – and in today’s blog, we’ll be looking back at some of the team’s highlights.

Attendees from Axess Systems

Flying the flag for Axess Systems at Citrix Connect London were End User Computing Specialist Stephan Stickley, and our Head of Technical Presales Kris Haynes.

Event Highlights

The event is called Connect for a reason – it really lets attendees hear from a variety of voices in the Citrix space. One of the great examples of this was from Brian Madden, who has almost 30 years of experience with Citrix before joining the company formally in February 2025.

His keynote speech discussed how Citrix is expanding beyond VDI solutions to deliver futureproof workspaces , through expanding its core products, focusing on secure access, and developing the new frontier of AI.

Outside of Brian’s speech, there was also a wider focus on how Citrix is evolving to meet customers where they are, with the platform helping to modernise their IT infrastructures. Central to this was the company’s recent acquisitions of uberAgent, Unicon, and deviceTRUST.

Kris Haynes’ Highlights

Kris’ role means he spends a lot of time networking with customers and peers, both online and in real life. As you can imagine, this meant he was in his element at Citrix Connect. He even volunteered to speak on his experiences for Citrix’ event summary video.

Kris had this to say about his experience:

The sessions and conversations at Citrix Connect highlighted just how important it is to keep learning and sharing experiences. There’s always something new to take away, whether it’s technical knowledge or a different way of solving a customer challenge.”

What’s Next?

As with any event, the true learning starts after the doors have closed. Through what they learned at Citrix Connect, our team will be able to offer you even more options for securing access to your work, while still staying within the Citrix platform you know.

And on top of that, we’re still collaborating with Citrix on our Axess Connect podcast series. If you missed the first episode, check out how to secure access without slowing down your people. Or sign up to the mailing list to receive the next instalment when it’s ready.

Thanks to everyone at Citrix for organising such an insightful event!
